Preshow content is crucial. I've written three years of preshow videos for the IAAPA Expo Kickoff. Each year, we use the monitors outside the theater to encourage guests to use all the available space. (This is a concept very familiar to attractions industry professionals.) We also use the videos to answer frequently asked questions and make sure attendees are prepared for the special effects involved in the show. This idea has evolved each year, below you'll find some of our first attempts at this technique from 2017. After that, you'll see how the idea has grown from some 2019 video samples.
